Oxolinic acid belongs to the first generation of quinolones, and its mechanism of action is to inhibit the synthesis of bacterial deoxynucleotides. It has strong antibacterial effect on gram-negative bacteria, but no antibacterial effect on fungi and mycobacterium tuberculosis. The MIC50 was 0.02 ~ 0.09 g/ml.
