Terbinafine hydrochloride is an arylamine with broad-spectrum antifungal activity. It can specifically interfere with the early biosynthesis of fungal ergosterol, highly selective inhibition of fungal squalene epoxidase, so that the squalene epoxidation reaction during the formation of fungal cell membrane is blocked, thus achieving the effect of killing or inhibiting the fungus.
Terbinafine hydrochloride has a fungicidal effect on skin fungi and an inhibitory effect on Candida albicans.
